WE NEED YOUR HELP!!

GHCC needs your participation in our First Annual Car Wash Fundraiser!

Saturday, July 10
9:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
Free hot dogs, chips and soda for all participants 

Sign-up sheets are available on the bulletin board above the drinking fountain or take a shift by e-mail (events@ourpool.org). KIDS ARE WELCOME and ENCOURAGED to participate! Plan on having fun and getting wet!

This fundraiser will help fund several critical maintenance projects to help keep OUR POOL good condition:

• Plastering the pool
• Removing the tree near the front entrance
• Installing a new water slide
  
• Resurfacing the diving board 
  
• Installing additional shade coverings
• Building a new clubhouse (and demolishing the old one)
  

The Car Wash Fundraiser obviously will not fund all of these projects, but can get us off to a good start. We look forward to seeing you there!T

August 2 - 6, 2010 from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm

Kids ages 5-10 will explore art from around the world each day while experiencing different cultures in "their own backyard"!  Campers will create their own art projects based on various countries and hold an Art Show Friday evening of camp.  Parents, guests and pool patrons will have an opportunity to view the campers' fantastic displays - if the camper is willing to sell, possibly even purchase a one of a kind treasure!

With the 2010 pool season rapidly approaching, it's not too soon to start thinking about about what's going on at GHCC this summer. Our new social director, Chris Nagus, has a lot of fun things planned, so check here often to get news about upcoming activities and events for kids, families, guys, gals and members in general.

We're looking forward to a great summer, and hope you are, too.
