Summer Camps
WHAT: Kids ages 5 -10 will explore their creativity by learning the art of the masters such as Picasso, Van Gogh, O’Keefe & Monet. Each day a different master will be presented and campers will learn their technique while creating a masterpiece of their own.
WHEN: July 11 – 15, 2011 from 10:00 to 1:00 (no camp on July 12th due to the pool being closed for cleaning)
WHERE: Greenwood Hills Community Club
COST: $80/child & $100/ non-member (register on-line at: www.ourpool.org)

Details, Rules, and Regulations

- Camper Drop off no earlier than 10:00 a.m. and Pick up no later than 1:00 p.m.
- TUESDAY, July 12th – there will be no camp due to pool being closed for cleaning
- Parents are required to sign their child in each day and sign child out each day ( i.d. and notification to Camp Guide will be required if someone other than parent picking up)
- Each day campers are required to bring:
- Labeled bottle of water
- Sack lunch with drink
- Towel
- Sunscreen, sunscreen, sunscreen
- Campers MUST wear bathing suits under clothing and Sunscreen each day of camp – camp guides will have children reapply sunscreen as needed
Sample schedule (subject to change):
- 10:00: Meet and greet, swimming
- 10:30: Snack and swimming
- 11:00: Creating art projects
- 12:00: Bathroom break, wash hands
- 12:15: Lunch and swimming
- 01:00: Pick Up
These camp rules are written for the purpose of ensuring the safety of all campers and staff and the overall success of the camp. Any violation of these rules may result in the immediate dismissal from the camp without refund.
- Safety: No camper is permitted in pool without a camp guide
- Respect those around you – both campers and staff
- Respect for property
Good Behavior Plan will be in effect at all times:
- First time: Verbal Warning or Time Out to the Camper – parents will be notified
- Second time: Parent contacted to pick up the camper immediately with the child missing the rest of the camp day
- Third time: Parent is contacted to pick up the camper immediately, removal of child will be required for remainder of week with no refund
